Paula Carolina, a German indie artist, played her show in Heidelberg, GER during her Ich war hier-Tour 2026 on Monday night. With local support, YARA, the crowd was already ready to sing along and dance once Paula Carolina came on stage. Their song "Champagner" was sung by the fans as if it wasn't just a support act but the main concert. Although not fully sold out, the crowd was so energetic that it did seem like it - people danced, moshed and sang loudly to both YARA and Paula Carolina.

A highlight was her songs "Otto Normal", "Sex und Liebe", and a very great cover of Tokio Hotel's "Durch den Monsun", which ended with a surprise saxophone part. She had multiple fun crowd engagements, but when she had a fan contest with her to spell the title of her song "Immatrikulationsbescheinigung", the whole crowd had a laugh.

All over, the set was full of left and empowering lyrics mixed with energetic sounds. At the end of the set, the whole band came off stage to play a piano in the middle of the seated crowd.
