One thing that's really thrilling about jumping into a new year is finding all the new artists and perhaps one of your new favorite artists. So here are the artists you should have on your radar for 2026.

These are not industry forecasts or label campaigns but personal predictions. Over the last few months, this selection has grown out of late-night scrolling, chaotic playlists, and too many "you need to hear this" voice notes from friends. Some of these artists come from tiny Discord bubbles and niche scenes, while others quietly pull in millions of streams without having fully crossed into the wider mainstream conversation yet.

These are names that, in my view, will break out of their current niches in the coming year. Not all the way to A-list celebrity, but at least to the point where far more people will recognize them when they show up in feeds, line-ups or conversations.

ADÉLA

Universal Music Group

Blending sleek, contemporary pop production with a strong visual identity and undeniable star presence, she crafts songs that feel polished, emotionally direct, and built for a global audience. There’s a sense of momentum around her: confident, calculated, and quietly ambitious. As her sound and profile continue to sharpen, Adéla is positioning herself as one of the next major pop girlies.

C4rl is a rising voice in Germany’s new wave of rap and pop-leaning club sounds. Blending trap foundations with Y2K aesthetics and a laid-back, melodic approach, his music feels instinctive, internet-native, and rooted in scene culture rather than industry polish. There’s a growing sense of anticipation around his next move, especially with a countdown reading the album is coming currently running on his website.

Clarry Berry

Clarry Berry is the kind of artist you find randomly and always come back to when you need a catchy dancey tune. She is carving out her own lane in the underground with a bold and genre-blurring sound. Blending rap and hyperpop, with club-ready bass, trap and electronic influences she music feels futuristic and sharply in tune with the moment. Songs like “Backpack” and “Jeremy” showcase her instinct for catchy hooks, playful pop-culture references and experimental production. Driven by a strong DIY attitude and a sound laced with electronic textures and 2010s club nostalgia, she stands out as one of the most exciting voices.

GDA are a genre-fluid duo formed by Boloboys member Loco Candy and musician Vigoblax, operating at the intersection of rap, club culture, and internet-era experimentation. Their sound thrives on heavy rhythms, digital textures, and a raw, DIY energy that prioritises impact over polish. Throughout 2025, GDA have been a regular presence in Berlin’s club circuit, sharpening their live edge and building momentum on the ground. As a support act on Souly’s Traence tour, they’ve pushed beyond the underground and onto wider stages.

LAVENDER is a German rapper and producer who has been quietly carving out a unique lane in the fast-forward world of German rap. His music blends moody, immersive beats with sharp, introspective lyrics, creating tracks that feel both reflective and immediate. In a scene that often moves at breakneck speed, LAVENDER brings a rare sense of calm and space, letting his music breathe while still hitting hard. A balancing act that sets him apart from the pack.

nate sib

Nate sib is a Los Angeles‑based singer, songwriter, and producer who’s fast becoming one of the most compelling young voices in contemporary pop and hyper‑infused rap‑leaning music. Known as a key part of the collective boyliife alongside longtime collaborator 2hollis, he's been building momentum with glitchy pop hooks, emotive vocals, and a genre‑blurring approach that feels as online as it does heartfelt.

Sam Quealy

Sam Quealy is the kind of pop artist that you'll be telling everyone you discovered first. Dubbed the techno-pop princess for her electrifying fusion of disco, rave-ready beats, and avant-garde glamour, she’s an Australian-born, Paris-based artist rewriting the rules of futuristic pop. A singer, songwriter, dancer, rapper and performance artist all at once, Sam Quealy isn’t just making catchy pop, she's creating a whole world of spectacle, style, and pulse-pounding rhythm. When I saw her live on Valentine's Day at the infamous Berghain, my jaw fell to the floor. She reminded me of the young Lady Gaga. Playing in clubs while doing jump splits and precise choreography, while hitting every note. She is camp and she is the moment.

Shosharascal is a German underground artist moving between rap, club, and experimental sounds with a restless, anything-goes energy. His tracks feel raw, playful, and deliberately unpolished, tapping into internet culture and scene-driven aesthetics rather than mainstream formulas. There’s a quiet buzz building around his name, carried by live energy and word-of-mouth momentum. With a confirmed slot at Splash! Festival 2026, Germany’s biggest rap festival, shosharascal is crossing the line from scene favorite to wider radar and firmly marking himself as one to watch next year.

Slayyyter

Slayyyter is a fearless pop provocateur who has been reshaping Y2K‑inspired electropop with a polished synth production. Bursting from St. Louis SoundCloud fame to Los Angeles club stages, she fuses glossy synths, chaotic internet energy, and unapologetic attitude into tracks that feel both nostalgic and completely now. Hits like “Mine”, “Daddy AF”, and “CRANK” showcase her knack for maximalist hooks and boundary‑pushing pop.

Sorisa

Sorisa is a Toronto-based electropop newcomer whose rise has been driven by instinct rather than hype. Still in high school, he first caught attention through lowkey SoundCloud uploads under the name brokeboyhappy, before breakout tracks like “U Look So Good In Fall” began to circulate online. Rooted in nostalgia, teenage honesty, and breezy rhythms, his music feels effortless and disarmingly sincere. With a genre-fluid approach that leaves room for pop, rap, and beyond, Sorisa is quietly shaping his own lane.
