Bella Kay: "a couple minutes" On Stage in Berlin
On Tuesday, May 12th, 2026, Bella Kay took a couple of minutes out of her precious time to play a sold-out show at Prachtwerk in Berlin. Stepping into the venue, the evening felt almost too intimate, with only 250 people inside.
At just 19 years old, Bella has already made a name for herself with her Billboard Hot 100 entry and breakout hit “iloveitiloveitiloveit,” as well as her debut EP sick to my stomach, which dropped last fall and included the hit single “The Sick.” The track has already amassed more than 140 million global streams.
And it has been a busy year for the singer. She kicked things off by supporting Ricky Montgomery and THE UNSEEN Magazine favorite Maisie Peters across the US and Canada. After finishing the European leg of her headlining tour, Bella will head back to North America for a few more shows before returning to the UK in November to support Noah Kahan on his The Great Divide Tour.
Even before the show began, the atmosphere felt unmistakably Gen Z, with the pre-show playlist packed full of Addison Rae, Madison Beer, and Charli xcx. Throughout the night, Bella embodied little pieces of everything exciting about modern pop culture: effortlessly unique, armed with a standout voice and lyrics that the crowd could scream along to.
Witty, funny, and a true breath of fresh air, that is the best way to describe her performance. Alongside her own hits like “Steady” and “Promise?”, Bella also delivered covers of Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and Rihanna’s “Stay,” both infused with her own unique twist. Between songs, she mixed in playful advice and banter that had the audience hanging onto every word. By the time she closed the night with “iloveitiloveitiloveit,” the crowd erupted.
With Bella still having a relatively small catalog of released music, the show was rather short, but incredibly intimate. It felt like the first bite of a big, elaborate meal still being prepared. And from that one taste, it is already clear that the final result will be mouthwatering. Bella Kay has proven herself to be an artist you should absolutely keep your eyes on.
