"Baby, It's Kismet": Matilda Mann Live in Berlin
Although it is the shortest month of the year, this might be one of the most exciting ones for Matilda Mann this year. As she is currently touring all around Europe for her current tour, on Monday, February 16th 2026, Pop-fans gathered at Lido in Berlin to see the up-and-coming British singer in Germany's capital.
Previously supporting acts such as Tom Odell or Role Model on their tours in addition to her own headlining shows, being on stage was nothing new for her. At this tour, it was now Matilda's turn to pick a support act. And since decisions are difficult to make, the audience was presented with two openers.
Orlando kicked off the evening with an intimate set of love and heartbreak songs "your ex listens to", including his newest release "i love you too much". Currently wrapping up the final stages of his first EP, fans can expect even more new music from Orlando to be released very soon.
It was then that Liang Lawrence's moment to shine arrived. She was joined by collaborator Coby to hype up the crowd with her latest EP, It's A Funny Thing. One could not help but look at her charisma, and excitement filled the room immediately. Next to her excitement about being on stage, she was also over the moon for Lunar New Year, which happened the next day. And although this tour might be over soon, Liang will, once again, be back on tour soon, supporting Asha Banks throughout Europe!
09:15 pm: Go-Time for Matilda as she hit the stage alongside her so-called "band of babyboys" with fan-favorite “Say It Back”. Other standout moments of the show were “Dazed & Confused“, “Doomsday”, alongside many other songs off Mann’s debut album Roxwell. The singer also performed a couple of unreleased songs, including one written alongside Coby just a couple of days before the show, teasing fans with new material. A variety of emotions were felt that night, from wanting to dance to shedding tears.
Recently, there has been a clear trend of pop stars including a very special fan and artist moment at their shows, whether it is Sabrina Carpenter arresting someone before "Juno", Taylor Swift giving away her infamous "22" to a little kid during her show, or now: Matilda Mann.
In probably the sweetest way imaginable, she told everyone to look at the back of the room just to make the audience realize she had run away when the audience obeyed. But she did come back, like a true angel. Pun intended! With angel wings and the help of both support acts, Orlando and Liang Lawrence, she came back to play matchmaker, which was very fitting given it was Valentine's Day! Before the show started, fans were given the opportunity to put their names inside a box with their romantic preferences, where now two pairs of people were matched. After a round of applause, they were told to meet at the merch table, where they were able to pick up a signed poster and meet their match, but with no pressure.
While keeping the angel wings on, the singer was ready to send her fans home after delivering the encore: a performance of “Meet Cute” and eventually the highlight: her newest hit “Inventing”. What a fun night full of music!

(Live) music is one of my biggest passions, which is why I enjoy exploring pop culture in my writings. From analyzing albums to reviewing concerts. I'm especially interested in fandom culture, which often comes through in my work.

I’ve loved photography since I was a kid and (live) music has always been such an important part of my life, getting to combine both of those things is a dream come true. I also love urban and street photography, especially while traveling. Any of my friends can tell tales about having to wait for me while i take pictures wherever we go haha. So: if you’re ever looking for me, chances are you’ll find me and my camera at a concert or out somewhere traveling (or at a concert while traveling).
