Rock, Truth & Bartop Anthems: YUNGBLUD’s Intimate Listening Party in Berlin

On April 1st, YUNGBLUD turned Roadrunners Paradise into exactly that—a little paradise for the fans lucky enough to be there. Tucked away on Saarbrücker Straße in Berlin, the venue felt more like someone’s living room than a typical event space. And that was the magic of the night: personal, raw, and completely unfiltered.

He showed up in person—no big announcement, no grand entrance. Just him, playing unreleased tracks from his upcoming album, and explaining the stories behind them like he was letting us read pages from his journal. He spoke about going on a bit of a “rock adventure” with this one. No pressure to make hits, he said. This time, it’s about telling the truth. And you could feel that. The songs weren’t polished for radio—they were messy in the best way. Honest. Loud. Vulnerable.

The first part of the evening felt quiet and focused. YUNGBLUD played through a selection of unreleased tracks, stopping between each one to talk about where it came from, what it meant, and what he was trying to say with this new chapter. There was something stripped back about it all—no performance, no mask, just him and the music. “This isn’t about making hits,” he said at one point. “It’s about telling the truth.” And it was clear he meant it.

When that first session wrapped, he stepped outside—where a few fans had been waiting. No security rush, no attitude. Just Dom being Dom: taking photos, saying hi, chatting, hugging people like they weren’t strangers.

Then, the energy shifted.

The fans were let into the venue, and everything got louder, looser, more electric. YUNGBLUD didn’t stay on stage. He sang with the crowd, danced between them, turned the room into one big shared heartbeat. At one point he was on the bar, at another he was just in it—no distance, no difference between artist and audience.

It was sweaty, chaotic, joyful. Not a show, not a promo event. More like a celebration between people who just get each other.

As the night came to a close, YUNGBLUD made sure to share a taste of what’s already out there with "Hello Heaven, Hello". If this track is any indication, his upcoming album will be a journey you won't want to miss: raw, real, and full of that signature YUNGBLUD energy.

Now, the world’s about to see it too.

On May 7th, YUNGBLUD officially announced his next world tour, kicking off in Los Angeles on August 23rd and hitting major cities across North America and Europe—including Berlin. This run will accompany the release of his forthcoming double album called Idols, the first part of which drops on June 20, 2025. The 12-track release will be available in multiple formats, including four limited edition vinyl versions. True to the spirit of that night in Berlin, YUNGBLUD described the project as “a world with no limitations”—a record not driven by singles, but by feeling.

Presales for Idols and tour tickets begin mid-May, with album pre-orders offering early access to European shows and mailing list signups unlocking presale codes in the U.S. Palaye Royale will join him on the European leg (excluding Zurich and Vienna), while Arkansas singer-songwriter Sawyer Hill supports stateside.

And for fans in the UK, all eyes are on Bludfest, returning June 21st, 2025 to the National Bowl in Milton Keynes—YUNGBLUD’s only UK show of the year—featuring a stacked lineup including Chase Atlantic, Rachel Chinouriri, and Denzel Curry.

Whether you were lucky enough to be at Roadrunners Paradise or are planning to catch him on tour, one thing is clear:

YUNGBLUD’s not just making music.

He’s building a world—and this time, he’s inviting everyone in.
