Summer is coming and so is PinkPop Season

This summer, Pinkpop returns once again to Landgraaf in the Netherlands, and it’s shaping up to be one of the season’s highlights. First held in 1970, it holds the title of the longest-running dedicated pop and rock festival in the world. Every year, over 70,000 people make their way to PinkPop’s home at an old harness racing track, turning it into an electrifying hub of music, art, and atmosphere.
Held every third weekend of June for more than five decades, Pinkpop has become a staple in the European festival calendar. It’s known for its diverse international lineup mixed with Dutch artists and its unique ability to bring people together across generations. Whether you're a long-time festivalgoer or discovering it for the first time, you will always discover something fresh that will blow your mind at the festival.
Over the past 55 years, its stages have welcomed some of the most legendary names in the music industry like Marilyn Manson, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, or Robbie Williams. The 2025 line up is no different in ambition. This year’s headliners are Justin Timberlake, Olivia Rodrigo, and Muse, each bringing their own energy to the stage. Olivia is set to captivate the crowd with her pop tunes, while Muse will take over the main stage with their signature sound of hard and progressive rock. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake will bring some R&B and pop to the mix. The headliners alone reflect the kind of musical diversity Pinkpop consistently delivers and it carries through the rest of the lineup too. There is something for everyone’s taste.
Beyond the big names, the lineup also features a fun mix of international and Dutch talent, including The Last Dinner Party, Girl in Red, Joost, and MIKA. You can check out the full lineup here!
Pinkpop isn’t only about the music. Each year, a different artist designs the official festival poster, and in collaboration with the Bonnefantenmuseum, curated art installations are exhibited on the festival grounds. It’s a space where music and visual creativity meet.
After more than fifty years, Pinkpop still brings people together like no other festival. Come be a part of it on the 21. - 22. of June and get your tickets here!

I like to write about everything pop & fandom culture. Since it has been an integral part of my life for over 10 years I want to write about it for people to get an insight into something they might not understand. I‘d love to shed light onto the misogynistic view on fansgirls/boys. Sport fans and pop music fans are not as different.
