Sziget Festival 2026: Island of Freedom

With rising temperatures, summer just around the corner, and longer days spent outside with friends, this year’s festival season has officially begun. It‘s the time of the year when people from all across Europe pack their bags and come together to celebrate music, freedom, and unforgettable moments at one of Europe’s biggest music festivals: Sziget Festival.

From August 11th to August 15th, Sziget Festival will return to Budapest, transforming the city into a vibrant island of music, art, and culture. Spanning over the course of five days and taking place at several different stages, Sziget festival offers an incredibly diverse lineup, ranging from music and dance to circus and theatre, as well as performance art and different workshops you can attend.

Known for its international atmosphere, not only big English-speaking stars like Bring Me The HorizonFlorence + The MachineTwenty One Pilots, and Lewis Capaldi are performing at Sziget, but German-speaking icons such as Ski AgguIkkimel, and Zimmer90 are represented as well, alongside many other interesting national and international artists.
