MS Dockville 2025: Everything You Need to Know About This Year's Festival

This year‘s festival season has officially kicked off, and one festival is celebrating a major birthday. The beloved music and arts festival MS DOCKVILLE, located in Hamburg, Germany, first took place in 2007 and is officially coming of age, turning 18 this year. Cheers! – or Prost, as the locals say.
Over the years, MS DOCKVILLE has welcomed some of the biggest names in the music industry to its stages, including Billie Eilish and Arlo Parks. And 2025 is no exception. The festival will take place from August 15 to 16. On Friday, Grammy nominee RAYE will headline, while rising star Lola Young takes center stage on Saturday.
Fans can also look forward to a strong international lineup, including The Last Dinner Party, Sigrid, and Royal Otis. But there’s plenty of homegrown talent, too. National icons like Ikkimel, Milleniumkid, and Ritter Lean will perform alongside exciting newcomers such as Jassin, Paula Engels, and Soffie.
And it's not just about music. MS DOCKVILLE is also a celebration of art. Festival-goers can explore a wide range of exhibitions, creative workshops, and discussion panels. Whether you're into rave aerobics, yoga, or a hands-on upcycling print workshop, there’s something for everyone.
The festival takes place in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg. Please note that there is no on-site parking available. The festival recommends taking the S-Bahn (S3 or S5) to Wilhelmsburg station, followed by a short 15-minute walk. Alternatively, you can ride your bike through the beautiful Old Elbe Tunnel (a must-see in Hamburg!) or take a taxi. For the return journey, shuttle buses will be available to bring you back to the S-Bahn. You can book your tickets online in advance.
Just like at any other live gig, if you plan to attend the festival, please make sure to stay hydrated and to eat enough. Be respectful to the people around you. Any form of sexism, racism, homophobia, or other discrimination is not tolerated.
If you need support, feel free to approach the awareness team in pink vests or contact them directly at 0157 36407217.
And most importantly: Have fun!
