Berlin witnessed a milestone last night as Sido marked 25 years in the game with his second sold-out Berlin show - this time at Waldbühne Berlin. From the first beat, it was clear; this wasn’t just nostalgia, it was a masterclass in legacy.

A marathon setlist packed with bangers; “Mein Block,” “Astronaut,” “Schlechtes Vorbild” had the crowd locked in. Special guests like Kitty Kat added weight and authenticity, turning the show into a celebration of German rap’s evolution.

True to form, Sido broke barriers, literally, by diving into the crowd, lighting a joint mid-set, and turning the venue into a living room for 22,000 fans. But it wasn’t all bravado. He took a rare, vulnerable moment to speak about mental health, the importance of checking in with yourself, and the power of community. His thank-you to the crowd was heartfelt, raw, and honest.

As someone who grew up on his music, I know that the night hit differently. This wasn’t just a show; it was closure, reflection, and celebration all at once. Every attendee felt it. Every voice was raised. Every track meant something.

Sido didn’t just prove he’s still relevant.

He showed us why he always will be.
