Indie-rock band Rum Jungle returned to Perth on the 3rd of July, bringing their Marginalia tour to the Astor Theatre as they celebrated their upcoming second album. Although the Perth show was one of the final stops on the Australian and New Zealand tour, the four-piece delivered an energetic performance!

Before the main show, VIP ticket holders were treated to an intimate pre-show acoustic set, giving some fans the chance to hear stripped-back versions of the band's songs. Opening the night were WA local bands Blush and Great Gable, who warmed up the stage and the crowd before Rum Jungle took the stage. From the opening song till the end, the crowd was buzzing, singing and dancing throughout the set! The lighting design complemented the performance, giving the show its own distinctive visual identity and creating plenty of moments to capture.

The Marginalia tour marks Rum Jungle's biggest headline run across Australia and New Zealand to date. In a few months, the band will set off to play some shows in North America before finishing the year with some UK/European shows.
