Cro Cronicles Tour 2024: Cologne

Cro is a 34-year-old singer who is also known for wearing a panda mask to hide his identity. True to his career, he had changed his mask a couple of times and had given his albums kind of different eras. His music is a mix of pop and rap. The first song that went viral was "Easy" in 2011 and had blown his career up; after that he published some more songs on a first mixtape. RAOP, his first album, was published in 2012, which is also the era of the original panda mask. Melodie and Tru are the albums that got kind of the same mask, which is a white version of the panda. Trip, 11:11 are the albums where he wears the newest mask; this one is a futuristic version of the panda. There is also another futuristic, blown-out version of the newest one, which he wears sometimes.

Besides the music, Cro is a very creative person. He started by making a fashion line called VioVio in 2012. This was shortly followed by sprayed art and a movie that came out in 2016, which is called "Unsere Zeit ist jetzt," which is about his life.

Ennio was the support act who warmed up the crowd and also said that he is a huge Cro fan since the beginning.

With the chronicles tour, he brought us back in time like we were in a time machine where we could enjoy his music from the point where it all started until now.

Ennio was the support act from Cro. He started to play at 6:10pm and played until 6:45pm. Ennio was on tour a couple of weeks before, and it was wild to see that half of the arena shouted out loud when he asked if there were some people that were at his tour. The fans made him kind of feel like he was playing a headline show, which was amazing to see how supportive the fans are.

Cro started at 20:00 and played until 22:00. He started the Chronicles Tour in the chronological timeline of his albums, which was with the original panda mask and probably the most nostalgic era because this was the time where it all started. The crowd went wild when he came out. He performed most of his oldest hits, like "Einmal um die Welt, "Easy," and also did some mashups for the songs like "Meine Gang.". The outfits that he wears on stage were also stunning and fit very well to the era he was playing to.

After the OG era, Tru and Melodie followed; he came out with a stunning new outfit and the next mask. The fans loved every second of it, and it was cool to see that the younger fans who started following Cro since this era were singing from the top of their lungs, enjoying every second of it.

The time had come, and the last era started. He came out with his newest mask, but this was just the beginning; he brought out two basketball baskets and a huge air basketball. He asked two fans to come up on stage and two to play against each other, "Left side vs. Right side." The left side, from his point of view, was the winner and could choose between one merch piece and three pieces he could give to other fans in the crowd. The loser in the game could stay for one song and become part of the band. After that he continued to perform and also played some songs on the piano. As a surprise, Cro got off stage and went through the crowd and climbed to the fans in the stands, where he performed a song. This moment made it really special and showed how close he is to his fans.

At the end, Badchieff and Wilsn, some friends of Cro, came out and performed songs of theirs, which the fans really loved because they're kind of a part of him and also have some songs with him together. While they were playing, Cro was standing in the FOH, where he showed his DJ skills.

All in all, the concert was one of the best I have ever attended. The crowd, the support act, and the surprise acts—all of this made the show amazing and unique. Cro has already announced the continuation of the Chronicles Tour in 2025, so for everyone who thinks of attending the show, this is your sign to go!!!

I think what I most love about photography is that it can mean something different for everyone. My personal favorite to shoot is live music; concerts were always my safe space, and I love that today I can shoot artists I have always listened to or looked up to. In my pictures, I always try to capture the emotions and the vibe of any concert because I want to create pictures that the artist loves and can look at afterward to enjoy the moment again.
