Deftones and Turnstile Are Bringing Two Kinds of Chaos to Berlin
On August 18, 2026, Deftones will return to Berlin for an open-air show at Parkbühne Wuhlheide, joined by Turnstile and Ecca Vandal.

The Sacramento band has built a world that feels instantly recognizable without ever becoming predictable. Their latest album, Private Music, continues that journey. Released in August 2025, the record became the band's tenth studio album and reached number five on the German album charts. It was also nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2026 Grammy Awards. Deftones will undoubtedly be one of the main attractions at Wuhlheide, but they won't be the only reason the crowd will gather there.
Turnstile has changed the way hardcore can look, sound, and feel. Their music carries the urgency of a packed club show, while still leaving room for melody, color, and movement. The band's 2025 album "NEVER ENOUGH" expands their sound even further, balancing explosive riffs with moments that feel unexpectedly bright and open. The album was nominated for Best Rock Album alongside Deftones at the 2026 Grammy Awards, and won. That shared nomination says a lot about the evening ahead.
Deftones and Turnstile come from different corners of alternative music, but both bands understand the power of contrast. One can transform a vast outdoor stage into something intimate and dreamlike; the other can make thousands of people move as if they were still pressed against the walls of a small club. The result could be one of those rare occasions where the support act doesn't simply warm up the crowd for the headliner but creates its own emotional peak.
Ecca Vandal will open the evening, adding another layer to a line-up that moves effortlessly between alternative rock, hardcore, punk, and hip-hop without treating genre boundaries as fixed rules.
