Faouzia Kicks off Her FILM NOIR Tour at Heimathafen Neukölln Berlin
"Ich liebe dich," Faouzia says, visibly touched by the dedication of the audience gathered at Heimathafen Neukölln in Berlin on June 17th, 2026. It was the opening night of her Film Noir Tour and, judging by the crowd's enthusiasm, many had been waiting a long time for this moment. Some had travelled from other German cities while others even travelled internationally from Sweden, Portugal or China. Several fans arrived with gifts in hand, eager to welcome the Moroccan-Canadian singer to Europe.
The intimate Berlin venue provided the perfect setting for a tour centered around raw emotion and storytelling. The stage design was minimal, allowing the focus to stay exactly where it belonged: on Faouzia and her voice. And what a voice it was.
Over the course of roughly one and a half hours, Faouzia moved effortlessly between piano-led ballads and larger, more energetic performances alongside her band to more acoustic numbers. Whether sitting behind the piano or commanding the stage from the front, she demonstrated why she has built such a devoted fanbase around the world. Every note felt deliberate and natural, every lyric felt heartfelt.
What made the evening particularly memorable, however, was the connection between artist and audience. The smaller setting created a sense of closeness that is increasingly rare at concerts. One moment stood out above all others: During "BIRTHDAY", Faouzia took a moment to move closer to the crowd. What followed felt less like a concert performance and more like a shared moment between friends. Surrounded by smiling faces and outstretched hands, the song transformed into something warm and deeply personal.
The setlist itself was generous, covering a large portion of her debut album FILM NOIR as well as Faouzia-classics like "Minefields", a collaboration with John Legend. Another highlight was the throwback section where the singer performed a few of her surprise throwback songs! In Berlin, the audience was treated with "Born Without a Heart" and "Don’t Tell Me I’m Pretty".
As the evening approached its conclusion, the singer briefly disappeared before returning in a new outfit for a couple more songs before closing the night with "PEACE & VIOLENCE". For some fans, the night did not end there. After the show, a handful of lucky attendees were able to meet Faouzia outside the venue, getting vinyl records signed or snapping a quick photo with the singer before she departed to the next city of her tour: Cologne, Germany.

(Live) music is one of my biggest passions, which is why I enjoy exploring pop culture in my writings. From analyzing albums to reviewing concerts. I'm especially interested in fandom culture, which often comes through in my work.
