Haiden Henderson's Tension Tour: A Star-Worthy Rock-Pop Show

Cologne's venue Gebäude 9 was already buzzing with energy on September 21 before the show even began, and Haiden ignited it. A curated playlist of familiar hits, including Gotta Go My Own Way from High School Musical, played and continued after Flavia's set with Justin Bieber's hits Confident and Baby, Nick Jonas' Introducing Me from Camp Rock, Hozier's Too Sweet, and Lady Gaga's Telephone. Everyone waited with bated breath, knowing tonight would be a good night.
Flavia's Opening Set: A Masked Singer-Like Performance
Flavia made a dramatic entrance in a glittery black and red costume, gracefully stepping across the stage and taking everyone by surprise. She opened with Open Heart Surgery, featuring good beats, strong vocals, and catchy lyrics like "her love is the medicine I need" and "Left my heart on the dancefloor baby."
After her opening number, she shed the first outfit to reveal a black ensemble with gold jewelry and various necklaces. A black full-face mask hid her identity, creating a Masked Singer atmosphere that captivated the audience.
Her second song, the pop-rock Like No One's Watching, instantly won over the crowd. Accompanied by white lilac lights, she removed her mask between songs and beamed at the audience, introducing herself sweetly: "Sehr süß - meine Name ist Flavia."

"Wow, it's so beautiful to be here," she shared with the crowd. Then, turning serious and mysterious, she leaned into the mic with a grin and asked, "Who likes free shit?" After the audience's screaming response, she shared a URL for fans to enter for a chance to win a free merch bundle. Apparently, some tour stops didn't like free stuff, but Germany did, to which she replied, "Germany for the win."
Body Speaks was particularly special - not only lyrically relatable but also a catchy masterpiece that sticks with you after just one listen. She opened it with, "I'll take you on a journey, feel free to close your eyes," sharing that the inner voice inside each person is usually too quiet but still there.
Another heartfelt moment came with Wide Awake, a song very dear to her life. She explained that a close person had lost someone, and how that person beautifully viewed death inspired the song - proving that through death, we can live life more deeply and to the fullest. She entered the crowd as phones lit up, and everyone gently swayed along.
Call Your Friends followed - a song reminding people to reach out, tell others you love them, and hug them for five seconds. The audience remained entranced by Flavia's presence, voice, and stage performance.
After announcing the contest winners on stage – "Ohhh applause," she mused. "I like that. It's like sexy bingo," she beamed. She opened her final song with: "This next song is a reminder to love the shit out of yourself." The pop-rock anthem had the audience dancing, nodding, and jumping along.
Flavia captivated everyone instantly with her infectious persona and incredible voice, closing her set with a video and photo with the crowd and promising, "I will be at the merch table after the show."
Haiden Henderson Takes the Stage: Your Early 00s Rock Star Energy Unleashed
The room erupted in screaming applause when Haiden's band stepped onto the stage. The air was thick with heat and energy, the crowd pressed close, sweaty and electric. With tension as the opening track, Haiden made it clear he knew exactly how to control a room. The audience screamed the lyrics back, louder with every line.
"What's up, Cologne?" he grinned. "If you don't wake up tomorrow morning sounding like you smoked a pack of cigarettes tonight, then you are not loud enough. Are you with me, Cologne?"
The answer came during lovesucker when the volume somehow doubled - the entire room was deafening; a wall of sound that Haiden received with a smile.
For DUMP HIM, he picked up his guitar, clapping his hands to set the rhythm. Instantly, the audience clapped along, keeping the beat as he sang high notes, creating a scene straight from a 2000s movie.
"Hello Cologne! I'm Haiden Henderson. It's an honor to be here," he said, noting it felt like he had just been there - because he had, only months ago. Spotting signs in the crowd, he laughed: "There are a lot of posters. I will get distracted. Should have brought my glasses. What does it say?" After some mumbling, he smirked: "It's a family show."
When a fan asked if she could give him her present, he happily accepted what turned out to be a massive crocheted black blanket with a performing Haiden stitched on top. His face lit up in shock and delight as the crowd screamed in amazement.
"Holy fuck," he said. "This is so much bigger than I thought it would be. That's insane." Then, with perfect comedic timing: "That's what she said." The audience erupted as he smirked. "Wow. I'm speechless. Holy crap. That is incredible. Thank you."

"Who has been on a tour of mine before?" he asked. A few people in the front row raised their hands, while most of the crowd hadn't been to one of his shows before. Surprise flickered across his face, quickly followed by a genuine smile, "Where have you been all my life?"
Scanning the crowd, his eyes landed on a girl. "Who are you? Did you come here alone?" he asked, waiting for her reply. "Madita," she answered. "Hi Madita," he smiled. "Hey everybody, can we say hi to Madita on the count of three?" The audience obliged in unison, greeting her with a roar.
"I wrote you a song, Madita—I wrote this on the way here," he said before starting to play good side on his guitar. With a straight face, he joked, "How do you know this song? I literally just wrote it." The entire room sang every lyric, phone lights turning the venue into a sea of stars. At the end, he handed Madita a rose.
"Hey guys, how are we doing?" Cheers erupted from the crowd, happy and enthused.
"How many of you listened to the new project Tension?" he asked, and the crowd answered with an even louder scream. "Thank God," he laughed.
"Follow-up question. What do you think of it?" The applause and screams grew louder, his grateful smile shining. Then, slipping into a smaller voice as if imitating someone in the back, he joked: "Mehh, I like the old songs."
When sweet tooth began, the entire audience held up photos of a bald Haiden. His reaction was instant: "Noooo!" When the song ended, he said, "I hate all of you so much."
Noticing the heat, Haiden offered water bottles to the crowd. Later, when a fan held up shots for the band, he warned, "That's a bad influence," before giving in. Learning they were 'Feigling' shots, he spotted the number 27 on the bottle and declared: "Guys, you have to count with me to 27." The entire venue chanted with him before he downed the shot.
One of the most unexpected moments was a cover of Britney Spears' Toxic. Haiden nailed the performance, which became even more electric when Flavia rejoined him on stage for a spectacular rendition. Wearing a pink cowboy hat gifted by a fan, he later passed it to his guitarist, Christina, during Pretty Little Addict.

Always pushing for more, he challenged Cologne to outdo his last show in the city. For Sorry to Your Next Ex, he commanded: "Sing these next lyrics - 'nasty' - and loud!" The roar that followed was so intense it felt like the entire street outside could hear it.
By the time the final notes rang out, Cologne had given everything. Haiden left the stage with the crowd still buzzing, voices hoarse, laughter lingering, and energy spilling into the night. It wasn't just a concert - it was chaos, comedy, and connection wrapped into one unforgettable evening. Haiden Henderson knows how to run a rock-pop show and give everyone a hell of a good time.
