A Rockstar on the Horizon: Hanna Rautzenberg's First Headlining Tour Debut in Berlin
On Saturday, 28th February 2026, Hanna Rautzenberg kicked off the first show of her 2026 headlining tour at Prachtwerk, a unique bar, café, and live music venue in Berlin-Neukölln that instantly created a warm and intimate atmosphere.
She didn’t come alone: a visibly nervous but excited Muryel opened the evening with a beautiful and deeply personal solo set. Just her, her guitar, a handful of songs, and a few adorable anecdotes in between. Being an opener can be challenging when the audience isn’t yet familiar with your catalogue. Especially when performing entirely on your own. Yet despite this being Hanna Rautzenberg’s headlining show, some fans had also come for Muryel, singing along to her songs and showing well-deserved support. Well, maybe not all of them as she also performed a few brand-new, unreleased tracks.
A definite highlight of her set was “The World’s Greatest Overthinker”, as well as “Mad Man” from her debut EP House On Fire. Ahead of that project’s release, Muryel met up with THE UNSEEN Magazine last year for an interview. You can find the article here.
At first glance, the stage design seemed rather simple. But the moment Hanna Rautzenberg stepped onto the stage, a wall of lights was revealed behind her. What followed was a light show that quickly became an integral part of the performance, adding a stunning visual layer to the entire evening.
She appeared genuinely grateful, thanking the audience several times for spending their money on tickets. And honestly: money well spent. Opening nights are always intriguing. You’re essentially buying a cat in a bag, not quite knowing what to expect, especially when it comes to the setlist. Considering that Hanna, at least for now, has only a limited number of officially released songs, one might have wondered about the show’s length. But she quickly proved there was nothing to worry about.
A quick peek at the setlist on stage revealed 23 songs. Hanna opened with her newest song “You Made Me Hate Roxette”, immediately heating up the crowd.
It has become fairly common for artists to include a surprise song to make each show feel special and Hanna followed suit. However, she took it one step further: she wrote a unique song for each city on the tour. That alone was a true highlight of the evening, right alongside “Blahblahblahblahblahblahblah”.
Towards the end of the show, Hanna brought her opener Muryel back on stage to perform her song “The Only Good Thing In This City”. And as if that wasn’t enough, she had one more surprise in store for Berlin: Having previously supported him, she welcomed Philipp Dittberner to the stage, which was most likely the ultimate highlight for the fan I spotted in the crowd wearing one of his hoodies. What a great first headlining show. And given the amount of newer songs Hanna performed, it‘s a sure bet there will be a lot of new material out soon!

(Live) music is one of my biggest passions, which is why I enjoy exploring pop culture in my writings. From analyzing albums to reviewing concerts. I'm especially interested in fandom culture, which often comes through in my work.

I’ve loved photography since I was a kid and (live) music has always been such an important part of my life, getting to combine both of those things is a dream come true. I also love urban and street photography, especially while traveling. Any of my friends can tell tales about having to wait for me while i take pictures wherever we go haha. So: if you’re ever looking for me, chances are you’ll find me and my camera at a concert or out somewhere traveling (or at a concert while traveling).
