The Calm Before the Storm: What to Expect at Hurricane Festival 2025

Since 1997, Scheeßel’s speedway track has hosted countless singers from all over the globe and offered a place for people to shut off for a few days, come together, and simply enjoy the music. This year, from June 20th to June 22nd, Hurricane Festival will open its gates once again, and it can be your one-stop shop for anything from Indie to Rock to Electro.
If you’re willing to come early, Hurricane reserves the stage for their warm-up party on June 19th. A few artists, including Hi! Spencer, Beauty and the Beats, and Raum27 will help kick-start your festival weekend.
The festival’s lineup consists not only of up-and-coming German artists like Ikkimel, Zartmann, and Berq but will also feature internationally recognizable names, scoring Green Day, The Prodigy, and Annenmaykantereit as their headliners.
On top of this, Girl in Red, Djo, Jeremias, and Sam Fender will grace the stage alongside plenty more artists you can find here.
Hurricane features a lot more than just the music and performances it offers, having been one of the biggest and boldest music festivals in Germany for more than 25 years now. On top of artists you love already and will come to love afterwards, Hurricane also highlights its internationality in the food stalls and arts it presents. Hurricane Festival expects to attract around 100.000 visitors this year, making it one of the largest music festivals in Germany, so get your tickets while you still can!
Whether you’re a seasoned festival goer or planning to go for the first time, Hurricane Festival is the place to be this summer. Treat yourself to some fun activities, food, like-minded people, and most importantly, great music you can all enjoy together!

As a little girl, my biggest dream was to stand on a stage and share my songs with people who can relate. It turns out that that’s a lot harder than it seemed. Still, there is a similarly electric feeling in the crowd, spending the better half of the evening with like-minded people. People who you might not know or ever see again, that don’t seem so much like strangers for those few hours you spend with an artist, their fans, and the music. To me, the capacity of music to make fans connect despite who they are is the most intriguing and inspiring phenomenon of all, and my hope is to share it with people as best I can.
