Alec Benjamin – 12 Notes Tour comes to Vienna

After hits like "Water Fountain" and "Let Me Down Slowly," Alec Benjamin is no stranger to the music industry. The American singer, songwriter, and musician began his career in 2013 with the release of his first EP, America. He gained early attention by promoting his music in unconventional ways, performing in parking lots outside concert venues, and handing out business cards to passersby. His breakthrough came with the release of his 2018 mixtape, Narrated for You, which marked a significant milestone in his rise to prominence.

Benjamin's debut studio album, These Two Windows, dropped on May 29, 2020, and peaked at No. 8 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart. His second album, (Un)Commentary, followed on April 15, 2022.

With 14.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Alec Benjamin has firmly established himself as one of the most compelling storytellers of his generation, crafting songs that are both playful and deeply meaningful.

Now, with the release of his latest album, 12 Notes, in May 2024, Alec continues to evolve as an artist. The record highlights his growth, all while maintaining the intimate, introspective songwriting that first captivated his audience. 12 Notes serves as a testament to his musical maturation - both sonically and thematically - proving that while he may evolve, the core of his music - his unparalleled storytelling - remains unchanged.

After a successful concert run across the US in September and October 2024, during which he released the deluxe version of 12 Notes (Deluxe) [16 Notes] and performed four shows in Australia and New Zealand, Alec Benjamin is now bringing his "12 Notes-Tour" to Europe and the UK. The 25-stop tour will also include a concert at Vienna’s Gasometer.

With the support of Austrian singer-songwriter Ness, this concert promises a well-rounded show, featuring both old hits and newly released songs from Benjamin's latest album such as the singles Different Kind of Beautiful, Pick Me, and Sacrifice Tomorrow.
