On Monday, March 16th, American rock band Geese, with support from Westside Cowboy, put on a show at the DOCKS in Hamburg as part of their "Getting Killed World Tour."

It was a highly anticipated gig, first the venue got upgraded from the Mojo Club, then the show sold out again and shortly before the support's set started there was still a line to get inside the venue. A perfect start into the week!

English band Westside Cowboy, with members Aoife Anson-O'Connell (vocals, bass), Reuben Haycocks (vocals, guitar), Jimmy Bradbury (vocals, guitar) and Paddy Murphy (drums) went on stage first. Each band member gave their best on stage. They started their set with "The Boys", also sang songs like "Drunk Surfer" or "Don’t Throw Rocks". They ended their set by all four of them coming to the front of the stage and performing "In The Morning".

Throughout their whole set they managed to captivate people’s attention and hype them up for Geese's set!

Then it was time for Geese themselves: Cameron Winter (vocals, guitar, keys), Emily Green (guitar), Dominic DiGesu (bass), Max Bassin (drums) and Sam Revaz (keys).

They started with their song "Apollo" and then went over to "Cobra". Right from the start fans were vibing along to their music!

Geese played songs such as "Getting Killed" from their latest album (also named "Getting Killed"), "100 Horses", "Au Pays du Cocaine" and ended their set with "Trinidad". Fans started multiple mosh pits during their set and during "Trinidad", a fan even crowd surfed!

The band showed us why the show was so anticipated, they showed up on stage and managed to truly emerge the attendees into their music.

You don’t want to miss them being on stage when they're near you!

Throughout 2022 and the beginning of 2023 I started to photograph with my phone at shows I went to, in April of 2023 I got to photograph with my camera at a show for the first time and have been doing it since. I love that it´s possible to combine (live) music and photography!

Excited to see what the future will bring!
