On Tuesday March 17th Good Neighbours set out on a headline show at the Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg as part of their 2026 Europe Tour.

The Hamburg-based singer Lisl opened for them this night. With her band, Julian Braun (drums) and Caro (guitar, bass), fans were already excited for the set to come as she entered the stage. It was also impressive how she managed to build a small fan base herself!

Lisl mentioned that she’s grateful for everyone who came down to her set and how she also had a good time supporting Good Neighbours previously at their Berlin show.

Introducing the song "Girls Like You", she explained that she tends to put people on pedestals; however, she doesn’t necessarily like the fact that she does this.

Using the platform she has, Lisl encouraged people to use their voice for Non-Binary People, Trans People and for the people of Palestine, Iran and Sudan, and not stay silent about everything happening in the world.

Lisl and her band closed the set with "A Little Lost", which she explained is about her social anxiety.

Then it was time for Good Neighbours; Oliver (Oli) Fox and Scott Verrill. Walking on stage with their band, fans clapped excitedly, Oli shouts “Hamburg!”, and the first song of their set ", Suburbs" starts. "It’s good to be back, it’s been a while, but we’re here", Oli said before "Skipping Stones".

The whole room starts erupting in applause, Oli encouraging fans to put their hands up, "Bloom", then starts. He also expressed gratitude for people having come to their show!

After "Starry Eyed", Oli was amazed at the fact that the venue was much bigger than the last one they played in Hamburg. He also mentioned how the duo had released their debut album "Blue Sky Mentality" just last year (released 03.10.2025). Then, opposed to most of their discography, they did the calmer song "The Buzz".

"Hamburg, thank you once again. This has been so fun", Oli said. Good Neighbours then went on to play their (to this day) most-streamed song "Home". It was a big sing-along, especially during the chorus!

As the last song of the night, and as an encore, they performed the song "Daisies", during which Oli crowd surfed once, and the crowd went down and jumped up!

It was a party all night long; they managed to get the people in the crowd to let loose and be present. Everyone danced and was attentive. During their set, Oli even spoke about that being Good Neighbours' goal, "We want you to feel lighter when you leave".

Throughout 2022 and the beginning of 2023 I started to photograph with my phone at shows I went to, in April of 2023 I got to photograph with my camera at a show for the first time and have been doing it since. I love that it´s possible to combine (live) music and photography!

Excited to see what the future will bring!
