Last Dinosaurs end their U.S.A tour in Orlando, FL

Finishing off their United States tour, the Last Dinosaurs celebrated their last show with Orlando, Florida, at a popular venue known as The Social. 

This Australian indie rock band has been accompanied by openers Jasper Bones, a solo Chicano wavy-soul artist, and Tipling Rock, a surf rock band, who both have added incredible energy to the tour. 

Last Dinos formed in 2007, out of Brisbane, Australia. The group contains bandmates Sean Caskey (vocals, rhythm guitar), Lachlan Caskey (vocals, rhythm guitar), Danjuro Koyama (drums) and Michael Sloane (bass). Their first EP was titled ‘Back From The Dead,’ released in 2010, while their latest album titled ‘KYORYU’ was released last year in 2924.

Highlighting their Orlando show on March 26, 2025, it could only be imagined how much life and spirit was brought to other stops on their tour. They interacted with those in the audience, playing for them and connecting with those who essentially made the show possible. Not only can their excitement be felt through their music and on-stage energy, but it could be seen throughout the crowd. 

There was not a song that the crowd didn’t know; every bit of their setlist was echoed back to them through those who have admired and enjoyed their music on a personal level, whether they’ve been listening for a few months or five years. They played fan-favorites such as ‘Apollo’ and ‘Eleven,’ as well as songs on their latest album such as ‘Keys To Your Civic’ and ‘Self-Serving Human Being.’

While the venue and stage was ample enough to house a sold out show and four-piece band, the attendance of this crowd was underestimated. The Social seemed to be at its maximum capacity. 

Regardless of being shoulder to shoulder, the concert was captivating and an overall stellar show curated by the performances and everyone behind the scenes. If you listen to bands like Vacations, Dayglow, or Bad Suns, then give Last Dinosaurs a listen on your preferred streaming platform.
